Hi, I have a rig, but for some reason I cannot animate it with Motor6D. It has a humanoid inserted in it and the humanoidrootpart is unanchored. Any help identifying what is wrong with it and what I need to fix would be greatly appreciated. For any of you asking, it is supposed to be a head on two legs, I cannot add a torso or arms.
Could you provide a bit more information on the model?
Uh, are you here? Sorry if I made you mad or something lol.
Oh, I kind of forgot. I personally don’t use moon animator so I was kind of stumped.
I’d personally re-rig with another plugin, I use this plugin for my rigging:
If that still didn’t work, Make the model, well a model and put it on sale so I could look over it, OR make it an rbxm file.
EDIT: I tested, and I didn’t use any primary part (HRP), I just rigged 2 blocks with a humanoid, and I could animate it. I used my rigging plugin.
Oh, I use RigEdit, is that good? Also can I send screenshots of it?
5 days apart lol, also yes send some screen shots.
I’ve never seen that plugin, I would try to add a primary part, make sure the parts aren’t locked, and if you can, redo the rig but in a different place, with a different rigging plugin. Sorry for the late reply, I got a bad injury today.
I think the rig does not have a Torso, that is maybe why it is not working
Use a separate part for the " HumanoidRootPart" it should be HumanoidRootPart < Torso < LeftLeg, RightLeg, Head
Also remember to set the Primary part of the Character Model to “HumanoidRootPart”
Is it possible to make a rig without a torso? Or is it just impossible?
Don’t worry, I hope you get better!
Make sure the hierarchy is correct, add an animator inside the humanoid, and then try it. Hope this helps.
Do you know where to find the animator I need to put inside it? Couldn’t find it in the insert object tab
U there? Sorry if I’m being annoying lol.
I might know what it is, I maybe just mixed it up with something else, don’t really know what an animator is
