Rig mesh coloring is reset when duplicated

When I duplicate this rig, the coloring on the mesh is reset to grey. All the parts that can be colored in the rig have the non-grey color, and the HumanoidDescription also has the same non-grey coloring for all body colors. All of the mesh body parts are reset to grey on the duplicated model, but the humanoid root part and the HumanoidDescription are unchanged.

When I parent the original, colored model to somewhere else the coloring resets to grey. When I restart studio the coloring on the original model resets to grey. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on here?

I’m coloring the parts at runtime to get around this. If anyone has a better fix please let me know.
