Hi everyone, I’ll try to keep this topic as simple as I can.
Here is what I need, or what I am asking for…
I’m trying to rig my custom characters, but I have experience in rigging, so I don’t know where to start. Funny story, I’ve been delayed in making my games for 3-4 years now, and I still haven’t found a solution.
What I need to do:
First of all, my characters are supposed to have multiple joints for their arms and legs.
Secondly, the way they will run/walk/jump, is that there are spheres where each limb will rotate on, creating a smoother animation, rather than using two limbs, which doesn’t look very good.
Thirdly, I’d like to be able to learn how to move parts like pupils across a flat eye-surface…
Example:
Take Sonic speed simulator and the Sonic.Exe the disaster series by Gamefam, and the latter made by OutLaikRBLX (My favorite developer).
Within both games, they’ve made it so that the pupils, along with the irises, move along the surface of the eyes white majority. But I don’t want to make a sphere to rotate. If you’ve ever played OutLaik’s game, he’s made it so that when you go on a spring, (his models are in traditional Roblox toy form), the characters head is facing upwards, but the eyes move down along the surface of eye-white to keep looking straight.
You’ll have to play his games to figure out what I mean, but I’ve seen other games do it as well…
Please help, I don’t know what to do.
