I haven’t been able to continue with my game recently, and I’m really unsure about what’s going on with Roblox Studio. It’s driving me crazy and making my map-building take ten times longer.
I used to be able to hold down the right mouse button in Studio and easily use the keys to rotate around my map without any issues. However, now every time I right-click and move the mouse even slightly, a long white box appears with options like Copy, Paste, Group, etc. It’s becoming extremely frustrating, and it’s also causing a lot of lag. It used to be so smooth – I’d just hold right-click to move around and click what I needed without any problems.
I thought it was an error, so I redownloaded Studio, but the problem persists. Is there any way to remove or switch this? I really need help with this!
use middle click, or you might’ve accidently edited some setting or it could be a problem with your system like windows or something but that’s unlikely.
This could be a mouse problem. If your mouse right-clicks twice when you click it once sometimes, even outside of studio, then it is likely an issue with the hardware. I had this before, and simply cracked open my mouse, took apart the little boxes, and changed how the copper plates were bent. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to solve the “double clicking” problem, if you end up finding that to be what you’re facing.
Thank you for the feedback! I’ll give both suggestions a try and see what happens. I hadn’t thought of that. I’m running Windows as well and did a fresh install to see if things would improve, but it’s still the same. I’ll try the mouse approach first — it might be the issue.
