I just got a Right to Erasure request and the player who’s data they need me to remove, doesn’t have any data in my game. I didn’t add a data store in my game until a few months ago, so it could possibly be from an older player who played my game years back, however I had no logging or data system in place before then. What exactly am I supposed to remove?
Maybe this is just a precaution then. It could be an automatic message that makes sure to remind you if you had datastores that you must delete their data. They probably send it out to devs not considering whether the game has datastores or not, just making sure that the user’s request is fufilled.
These messages are sent regardless whether that player has data in the datastores or not, its an automated message just to remind you to remove all data from that user from your games. If theres no data for that user in your game then your fine.
Someone requested to Roblox that they dont want Roblox to have their data anymore. Roblox sends the request regardless if you actually have data on them or not. If you dont have any data on them, simply ignore the message.
