Roblox 2006-2008 climbing physics

Hello everyone,

I need help with remaking old roblox climbing to make my old roblox simulator better and improve the quality of it. I didn’t saw any games have this feature except Super nostalgia zone. I really didn’t messed with humanoid much before, so I need detailed information about how to do that.

What’s a 2008 climbing is you’re basically allowed to move in X and Z axis while climbing upwards or downwards at the same time. You can see what I meant in this video

Any help is appriciated.

You would probably need to edit the PlayerControl scripts.

it didn’t helped in any way, humanoid needs to be edited in my opinion but humanoid isn’t open source and that causes the problem. Luanoid is a good alternative but many of my scripts doesn’t work with luanoid.
