Roblox Account Locked

My ROBLOX account MrSoulSlasher at 4:00 PM EST on 12/13/2022 was randomly locked. I had every single authentication service on my account and now I cannot log into my account at all using mobile or PC. My email and phone number no longer seem to be associated with my account. I’ve attempted to reset my password but neither seem to work. I had the 2-step authenticator on my account as well. Didn’t receive an email my password or email associated with my account has changed. I cannot log into the Roblox platform at all. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue I’ve contacted Roblox Support about this issue as well.

It kind of sounds like your account has been hacked. If you have had 2-step then it may have been a cookie log attack.

Would be a really insane hack for a Roblox account. Know the password, Use the authenticator to log in, obtain the pin for my account, change my email and password, bypass my email verification with google, log into my email and delete those messages so I wouldn’t be able to see my password and email has been changed. My items are on my account as of right now and it doesn’t appear anyone has logged into my account since I’ve been locked out. Would be a wild way of just preventing me from using Roblox at all with no gain in mind unless they plan on logging in at a later time.

That’s why he said it’s an cookie log. By getting your cookie, they would automatically bypass the authenticator.

In all likelihood, this isn’t a hack. Hackers like to move fast, what if you gain access to your account again? They’d miss their opportunity. If you were hacked you’d probably have all your items transferred nearly immediately, or within a few hours.

The only thing you can do is wait for CS to respond.

That’s what I am assuming if it was a hack, I’d assume my email and password would be switched immediately and my items would be gone. However, my email is currently showing it isn’t associated with my account when I click usernames associated with this email or attempt to reset the password which is odd. Hopefully won’t cause issues when emailing CS.

I was in my own game when all of this happened it said, “Logged in on another device” and kicked me from my game and I was logged out on all devices.

The email and password are either switched from a hacker however if this was the case, I’d receive an email saying my password and email has been changed which I never received unless they have access to my email as well to remove those messages, or this is just a Roblox issue occurring. Whenever I try to log in it will say “Incorrect username or password.” I am able to log in on alternate accounts this is the only account that is locked.

Something like this happened to me a few weeks ago but in my case i was cookie logged. Basically on the 19th of november someone logged into my account and stole about 1M+ Robux from both my account and group. I don’t know how this happened exactly because i never clicked any links at ALL, but they managed to change my password. I had no email from roblox meaning it was a cookie log and had proof of being compromised, however roblox declined a rollback because i never had 2fa with an “authenticator” :smiley:

Not really. Cookie logging is a common thing, strange why none of your items have been taken though unless the user is only after robux or smthing

All items seem to be there as of right now I had every single verification method roblox had to offer active. If it is a hacker it seems they just wanted to boot me offline for now unless they just wanted Robux as you mentioned. Just posting what’s going on here since I still have access here so other users can see what to do if this happens to them. I’ve contacted CS received a the standard hacked account reply to tell them what’s going on waiting for another response.

If I were you I would not only go after cs but also after a staff member on the forum itself it seems that if u want anything done it should be done through a real person not a bunch of bots

This situation sounds very similar to mine. The password and email were changed I did not receive an email to my actual verified email that they were changed. I was automatically signed out of all devices when I attempted to reset my password it isn’t showing my email is associated with my account. Due to the email and phone number being changed I cannot change the password to even access the account. However I do have the google authenticator. I believe if it is a hacker they were successful in everything else but couldn’t actually log into my account due to not being able to access the google authenticator which roblox asks for every time you try to log in on a new device. My account has been offline since I’ve been locked out.

Roblox CS restored my account if it was a hacker, they were unable to access my account. My email, phone number, and password were all changed.
