Roblox and Roblox Studio refuse to be downloaded, they shut down at the end of the loading without pop up showing an error

Hello I’m reporting this bug for a friend who can’t use Roblox Studio. He checked his logs and all I notice is, the error says Timeout, and I don’t think his internet is bad.
But if he tries to download the things manually it works :

But with the Roblox studio installer it doesn’t work.
So finally my friend managed to open Roblox Studio by downloading the logs one by one.

EDIT 10/29/2023 : My friend has a different problem to reinstall the Roblox launcher, it’s not about http request timeout but about failure to read a subkey, here his logs from the Roblox Launcher :

Can confirm that I’ve been having this, took me about 30 minutes of trying to download ROBLOX for it to actually work.

Additional info:

  • This has happened to me both with the regular ROBLOX client and studio.
  • When I had it installed, my roblox would not launch at all, so when I tried re-installing it thats when it started bugging out and not downloading. I cleared everything in localappdata but that did not change anything.

Simply trying over and over trying to install it seemed to have worked. It takes multiple attempts

Thank you for your answer, please let me know when it’ll be fixed! My friend can only uses Roblox Studio at the moment, not Roblox Player!

I had a friend who had an issue similar to this. They were able to fix it by going to C:/Users/Name/AppData/Local and deleting the Roblox folder if there is one as it may be corrupted and preventing you from reinstalling. If this doesn’t fix the issue; there seems to be a different issue that I am unsure how to fix. I hope that this helps in some sort of way!
