Hello,
We are seeing cursors disappear when a user clicks out of the game window and then back into game window. Please see video attached for reference. We are only seeing this behavior occur on PCs. Game link here
System Info from our developers and QA team:
Intel(R) Core™ i7-10750H CPU @2.60GHZ, 16 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with Max-Q Design
Load into game while using a PC (do this in a windowed mode for easier testing)
Interact with game UI using visible cursor
With your cursor, select anywhere outside of game window
With your cursor again, select anywhere inside the game window
Attempt to move cursor around game window and fail to see cursor rendered. You are still able to interact with UI elements.
Sometimes after a few clicks in the game window and interacting with the UI, the cursor might reappear. For others, it doesn’t come back unless the game is reloaded.
Expected behavior
Users should be able to see their cursor the entire time they’re in our game.
Cursor is rendered in game screen on start. If user clicks outside of game window, it will disappear when user returns to the game. It is inconsistent if the cursor will reappear after interacting in game window for a while or if user will be forced to reload into game to get cursor back.
We are seeing this issue as of March 21st. It takes a few minutes sometimes, but the cursor does still disappear on PC when selecting outside the game window and then returning.
Hi @SME_DEV15 , I rolled out a change that may have caused the issue. I can revert the flag for your place to confirm if that fixes it. Will update with you soon.
Hi @CharlieGordonnn - just curious on the status of this issue. Please let me know if your team needs any additional information or help from our side.
From personal experience with staff responses, if the message doesn’t contain method of intent for resolving said issue or there are no more questions asked, then it gets delegated to a tiered severity list. If the higher severity is full of tickets, the lower ones don’t get tended to.
Hi @SME_DEV15, we’re looking into it, but couldn’t get a repro, it’d be great if you could provide more hardware info, like what type of mouse were you using, also was this on windows laptop or desktop? Thanks a lot!
