Welcome
Roblox Architects is a group focused on bringing together some of the best 3D creators on the platform, from traditional builders to today’s brilliant creative diversity. Our aim is to create a creative community to develop their skills in a mutually beneficial and constructive environment. It’s the go-to group for creators who want to get more involved in the building community. The group was founded on September 28, 2009 by ZeroVelocity and Fisherman94 and in 2018, the group was handed down to Plutonem to continue RAR’s legacy.

Entry Guide
Criteria:
1. Understanding of tools
Whether your primary tool is Roblox Studio, Blender or any another external program, it is important for us to see you have a proper understanding of what you’re doing. Properly demonstrating you understand your tools will greatly improve your chance of being accepted in the group.
2. Quality of build
Being able to build with precision and few to no flaws is something we look for. Using parts, shapes, and textures to make something more intricate will greatly increase the quality of your creation. This is a huge factor in making a high-quality creations and we must see that you’re able to use the tools to give attention to detail in your build.
3. Coherence
When we look at your showcase, we look at it as a whole but also at each individual element. It’s important that all those individual elements are equally designed with similar techniques to have consistency across your entire showcase. The higher you aim as a rank, the more this is important.
4. Ambiance
This step is very important when it comes to ranking up. Focusing on ambiance in your showcase turn its into a different world, a unique experience. The basics of ambiance would be taking the time to properly adjust the lighting parameters and adding post-processing effects to give your place more personality. Other than lighting, adding sounds is the most definitive change to add more authenticity to your showcase.
Here are other ideas:
- Adding particle effects
- Physically dynamic objects
- Animations
Procedure:
The easiest way to join Roblox Architects is to include RAR in the title of your game(s) you would like us to review and send a join request. Our staff check through the requests every now and then and will bring it for review.
The other way is contacting the staff directly. Send them the link(s) to your game(s) to review. If the result is positive, we will ask you to send a join request. If you feel like your application is taking a long time, contact another staff member and let them know of the situation.
Note: You will be ranked up to your proper rank when joining.
Ranks
In order to rank up you must send a request to one of our moderators via private messages. You should include the place(s) you want us to review and the rank you are applying for.
Roblox Architects offer three levels of experience to help distinguish more advanced users:
Intrinsic:
An intrinsic member has grasped the basic concepts of building. They’ve dedicated themselves to developing a place or set of models to show off their talent.
Extraordinary:
There is a big step up from intrinsic to extraordinary and getting to this rank is no small feat. There are lots of builders on Roblox but these users have showcases or builds that are distinctive and impressive. Their skills have spread from simple building to creating atmospheric and detailed creations.
Outstanding:
These members create incredibly high detailed and consistent showcases. This is the most prestigious rank in RAR and only the most elite builders can climb this high. Users here have experience in most, if not all, facets of studio and have proven their skill time and time again. Users who wish to apply to this rank must do so with a completed showcase.
Honoured Members
Those users, who have been a significant part of RAR’s history, are still trustworthy but can’t dedicate the time necessary to help. They would normally be part of RAR administration but in order to differentiate them from the active staff, we gave them their own rank.
