Introduction
Roblox Architects is a building group on Roblox founded by ZeroVelocity and Fisherman94 on September 28, 2009. In 2018, the group was handed down to Plutonem to continue RAR’s dedicated legacy, and later handed down to AerialsAbove in December 2020. As of 2023 RAR is now owned by UnitPeka.
Our Goal?
Is to create a strong and connected community of users with a passion for Building to develop and share their skills in a mutually beneficial and constructive environment. Roblox Architects is the go-to group for Builders who have grasped the basics of building and want to improve and get more involved in the building community here on Roblox. RAR is known for its diversity of members, ranging from starter Builders to the best Builders and 3D Artists on the platform. Many members of RAR make an effort to help other Builders perfect their craft and also sharpen their own Building skills.

How to Join?
As of 2024, RAR is an exclusive (invite-only) building community on Roblox with varying skill levels of builders, modelers, and artists! If you’re interested in joining you will have to get an invite, be active in the community and get to know our members. You would have to climb up the ranks, here are the following ranks you have to go up for starting from intrinsic.
Ranking Up!
Intrinsic
Entry level rank, what we look for in your Application here is just the base level skills of building on Roblox using Roblox Studio and a possible display of creativity. Excessive use of free models will not be tolerated as we need to see you put the slightest time and effort in your creation.

Extraordinary
Ranking up and becoming an Extraordinary Architect is now beyond entry level. What we look for in your Submission here is something that would represent you as a builder. The visibility of important showcase factors will be considered when looking at your showcase, factors such as: Environment Design, Sound Design, Lighting Placement, Building Structure etc… . The proportions of your showcase need to display balance, and the theme does not matter as we do not look upon what you like to do but what you can do.
Extraordinary Examples:
Outstanding
Outstanding members create incredibly high detailed and consistent showcases and have likely been doing so for a long time. This is the one of the most prestigious ranks in RAR and only builders who have made a huge endeavor to improve their skillset can climb this high. Users here have experience in most, if not all, facets of studio and have proven their skill time and time again. Users who wish to apply to this rank must do so with a completed showcase or very close to that.
Outstanding Examples:
Masterful
The pinnacle of achievement within the group, the Master rank is reserved for those who have demonstrated an unparalleled mastery of building & design. Members at this level possess exceptional skill and creativity that surpasses even the most stringent standards set for the previous ranks. They are experts not just in constructing visually stunning and technically complex builds, but also in pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved on the platform. Masters consistently create innovative projects that inspire and set benchmarks for the entire community. They have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Building and Architecture.
This rank has an exception of heavily focusing on architectural structures rather than being equal to the rest of the grading criteria, while also balancing the existence of the rest.
Members may only apply for this rank once every 6 months.

Grading Criteria
There are multiple aspects we go through when voting for a Rank up and our voters make sure to look at your place from different perspectives, but the most important perspective is the one that you present.
Criteria will include but is not limited to:
- Environmental Design
- Level of detail and quality (Depending on style)
- Consistency throughout the entire showcase
- Environmental Sound design
- Lighting and ambiance
- Color Composition
Conclusion
Group Projects
Every couple of months, RAR hosts group projects and events running through themes of a seasonal event or holiday. These projects usually tend to come along with handful of prizes, everyone gets to participate and have tons of fun, it’s a way for the community to get to know each other better and establish a better connection. Here are some of the few event places hosted on RAR:
Code of Conduct
A member of Roblox Architects is expected to behave themselves in a way that respects him/herself and others. Acknowledge that other members are often in contact with the same developers and bad reputations spread quickly. Note that staff are free to remove you from RAR at any time if they judge your behavior as unacceptable, your actions reflect the group’s identity.
Users should avoid discussing or broaching certain topics. We invite users to discuss anything that comes to their mind as long as it isn’t offensive, causing harm or too inappropriate. Debates are allowed, as long as the two parties are friendly, there is an appropriate topic, and there are no insults being thrown between parties.
