Roblox automatically makes a ton of Motor6Ds

It’s not a bug but it should be changed

If you have 2 attachments with the same name that ends in RigAttachment, roblox will automatically make a Motor6D between the two attachments when the model containing them enters the workspace.

My model already contains exactly what I want it to contain. Having to clean up after this is annoying. This behavior should be removed.

This used to happen in tools (it doesn’t anymore); if you insert an old gear, like Bloxy Cola and open its handle, there will be a lot of unused welds in there (probably there since they were created), so I see no reason to keep that in humanoids.

So the repro here would be to unparent/reparent to Workspace repeatedly?

Yeah. Also starting the game will do it.

iirc, even just opening the placefile will cause this because it’s a part of Humanoid’s initializing code.
