There are limitations with Xbox, and I’d imagine now PlayStation. I recommend checking out the following:
I’m the PM working on Xbox, and just wanted to say thanks for all the feedback. Ill try to get through these threads one by one so that everyone gets the benefit of my answers, but from a big picture perspective, we are really looking into investing in improving Xbox this year, both from a performance and a usability perspective.

“We understand that chat is the most highly requested Xbox feature, and its something we wish to add soon. There is a fair amount of work to get chat to be compliant and feel native on Xbox, which is why it was removed. ”
The Xbox guidelines on the doc site have been deleted somewhat recently. I assume we don’t follow them anymore, rather we follow the age guidelines in general. I made a post about updating the Xbox guidelines a bit ago though:
All Xbox guidelines described here should be updated to reflect how Roblox is today, taking Roblox’s age guideline/recommendation system into account.
It would also be good to mention that Roblox is now rated Teen and thus some requirements might not necessarily need to be there anymore. An overhaul in general would be good for both the ‘Launch Guidelines’ and the ‘Feature Experience Guidelines’.
