I made about 2 days worth of progress on my map and for some reason today roblox decided to delete my place file entirely. I cannot find the file in my trash or anywhere else. I made sure to save after I was done. When I checked for an autosave that was deleted too. I set it to autosave every minute so I’m sure I wasn’t at fault here. 
That folder, is just a TMP folder.
You should really save things another place.

So because my file was in that folder it had deleted along with the autosave?
My guess would be so.
You should have saved it another place on your computer, other than roblox’s TMP save folder.
I don’t know how long roblox keeps each temp file.
And i’m not sure if there’s a place to recover it.
How is that just a TMP folder ? It is saved in C:/Users/[User]/Documents/ROBLOX
The ROBLOX application should never remove any folders inside the Documents folder…

The problem is that the folder is RecentSaves. If you save a number of other places, then the first is no longer “recent”.
This place was created recently though, I also have other places from 2014 still in there that haven’t been deleted.
