Roblox Client no longer launches on Windows

Hello, apologies if this is the wrong tag but I’m truly lost.

Randomly, whenever I launch Roblox, it will crash, and when I check the memory dump files, I get this:
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

I have tried uninstalling windows updates, updating GPU drives and various other things all to no avail. This has happened out of the blue. I’m on Windows 11.

The bios that my PC uses (APTIO) doesn’t seem to have a way to change ramspeed either. This is a Razer blade stealth.

Please help me figure this out

I had this issue a few years back, here’s some things you can try to see if it works:

  1. Delete roblox and reinstall
  2. Hard Reset (ONLY IF THERE’S NO OTHER WAYS)

Does Roblox immediately crash when you launch it? (With no error pop-up)

It says Roblox has experienced an issue and needs to quit.

I have tried uninstalling Roblox atleast 15 times, and hard resetting isn’t really an option

You can DM Bug Support with a message in the format of a bug report, and they will forward it to #bug-reports within a few days. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it’s already too late due to the Christmas holidays Roblox gives their employees, so you may only get a response next January.

You should attach the dump files with your DM as well.

Solutions

  1. check if any app changes any roblox file (hyperion)
  2. install a fresh, clean install of Windows
  3. (NEEDS UEFI) Change your UEFI Firmware settings
  4. Revert to older windows update
  5. buy a new pc
  6. no solution
