Roblox Closes Immediately While Forza Horizon 5 Is Running

Expected Behavior:
Roblox should operate normally, allowing users to join and play games even if Forza Horizon 5 is running in the background.

Actual Behavior:
Roblox closes immediately after attempting to join any game while Forza Horizon 5 is running. No error messages are displayed.

Where It Happens:

This issue occurs universally across all Roblox games.

When It Happens:

First noticed in December 2024. This behavior is consistent and happens every time the described conditions are met.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open Forza Horizon 5.
  2. Attempt to join any Roblox game via the desktop client.
  3. Observe that Roblox closes immediately after attempting to join.

This behavior occurs 100% of the time when these steps are followed.

Repro File:

Not applicable, as this issue occurs universally and is not linked to a specific game or script.

    • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super
    • RAM: 32GB
    • OS: Windows 11
  • Roblox Version: Latest as of January 1, 2025

  • Disabling Software/Plugins: Issue persists even after disabling unnecessary software or plugins.

I’m sorry, but we usually don’t disclose details about anti-cheat related issues. All I can say is that it was an incompatibility between their anti-cheat and our anti-cheat systems.

The fixes for this issue have been released with the latest Roblox update (version 0.657).

Please let us know if the issue still persists for you.
