Information for the RCD Group ROBLOX Community Developers - Roblox
!RCD is NOT an official Roblox group!

Roblox Community developers is a group for people who either already do some kind of work on Roblox or are wanting to get into it, you can be a builder, scripter, both, all is welcome! Help make it active again!

Group general rules (drop down)
  • We ask users to respect others, and treat others in a good manner
  • Please don’t spam the wall
  • No asking for Robux (it’s against TOS to do robux giveaways)
  • Advertising your creation can be every few days, please don’t keep posting it every day. If it becomes a issue we may ask you to do it once a week
  • just have fun and meet new people :grinning:
Getting Developer Ranks (drop down)

These ranks are to show what you do on the platform

Ask on group or message me or someone that can. If asking on group add [Rank Application] in front of your rank request and links to your work

For example: [Rank Application] Builder, link to your work

OR if are able and are in our discord server there is a channel for requesting ranks/roles, format should be like:

1. Developer Related Ranks

• Builder: Builds things within Roblox studio

• Mesh Creator: uses 3rd party programs such as Blender to create models and assets.

• Scripter: has a good knowledge in programming, and can script various things.

• UI Designer: makes user interfaces (aka GUIs)

• Animator: makes character animations or anything else that requires animation.

All work must be your own, must reflect rank, (more then 6-12 months of experience), does not have to be super detailed or advanced. We want to make sure people fit the ranks they want.

Use of free models or stolen work in your submission and or images if using the discord server will result in a decline

2.Artist Related Ranks

• GFX Artist: makes game thumbnails, and other graphics

• SFX Artist: makes game music or sounds.

• Clothing Designer: makes clothing for the Roblox catalog. Should have more then a few clothing items, and must be made by you.

All work must be your own, the quality/experience level can range from moderate to a skilled artist/gfx designer. This can range from game thumbnails, avatar profile images, drawings, Game art.

3. Video Related Ranks

• Link to your YouTube channel or Twitch

• For Youtuber, must have over 500 subscribers and post on a semi regular basis, some exceptions can be made if you don’t have 500+ subs.

• Streamer, If on twitch must have over 100 followers and stream on a semi regular basis, if you stream on Youtube, Youtube qualifications apply

Must not post videos about free robux, exploiting or any type of bullying/ targeting, or anything that would be against Roblox TOS,
Must be your own channel, if you don’t have the required number, don’t link to another persons channel. This has happened a few times, we check, and some times its not hard to tell.
Doing so will result in you not getting the rank.

4.Extra Ranks

• Devforum Member, Must be a member of the Devforum with a trust level member or higher (Regular, or above), and been a member for at least 5 or 6 months
And be an active user of it meaning you have.
Read time

• QA tester- :warning:No longer obtainable, sorry :warning:

• Group Owner, You own a group with over 1,000 members. If you have a holder account for that group you must be able to verify you own it.
Also if it’s found the group is botted, you won’t get the rank

• Game producer, own or Co own a popular game with 200+ concurrent/playing player’s.

• Site Creator, You make websites

• Noted member, this is given to users by the owner to those who are trusted and or contributed in some way to the group

Staff Ranks Info (WIP) (drop down)

For Staff Ranks, we will announce when ever we are looking for more people for the team, either on the groups shout or in our communications server.

Obtainable Staff Ranks

  • Intern

  • Moderator

  • Application Reader

*Ranks only Obtainable by selection

  • IRI, This staff rank is determined by the upper management and if the member is trusted to do the job. Once a member is determined they could be part of this role then more info will be given.

● The following ranks are only obtained if you show good leadership, trust, help out a lot and been part of the team for a while. Only given by Owner and Co-Owner if a decision is made with upper management. Managers can nominate people who they think qualifies.

  • Superviser

  • Manager

Discord Server Info (drop down)

We have a discord server, IF you can join your welcome to, of course you must be within the age range that is required, but if you are one that can that is awesome!
things you can do there:

  • Share creations
  • Get help on things such as scripts, builds etc
  • discuss development related things
  • look for people to hire or to work for
  • Get ranks quicker, through the rank request channel
  • have more then one role showing what you do ie: Builder, Scripter, GFX Artist
  • faster way to contact a group staff member
