Yesterday, my account has received a warning with the moderator note of “Your account has been moderated for buying, selling, or trading Robux or virtual Roblox Items outside of the Roblox website.” This also left my
community locked, I have not even done anything close to that, I am a Roblox Scripter who does commissions and receive robux for my services through my group, but last time I checked, this completely obliges by the Terms of Service, Roblox locking my community directly means that I cannot continue any commissions or any development progress with my team, this is extremely frustrating. I have contacted roblox support and pending for a reply. But I would like to know whether commissions from hidden devs break roblox TOS?

it doesn’t break the TOS. it’s just roblox being roblox
roblox has a common issue where if you used group payouts, you have a very high chance of getting your account either warned or terminated.
they can’t 100% determine whether you used group payouts to do stuff outside their website, so they just moderate you with 1% doubt that you violated the rules.
you’re not the only one facing this, countless users are facing the same thing, and some of them remained unfairly terminated
your only hope is roblox support. i suggest you reply to the automated message (the one that they send you whenever you submit an appeal) and include as more information as possible. explain your whole story and why you think this is an unfair moderation action. include screenshots of people commissioning you on your group as evidence. if they refused to open your group on the first appeal, wait a few hours then send in another one including more information. (this is what other users used to appeal this ban successfully)

did you make sure that you had received the automated message on your email? (the message that they send you whenever you submit a ticket)

this is actually weird. currently other people are facing the same problem.
wait for two more days. if they havent replied, submit another ticket

Hm, they replied to me but rejected my appeal with absolutely no reason and vague explanation
like I haven’t done anything close to that. Actually so irritating

knew it. it’s literally the same copied message they send to any group moderation appeals
i guess it’s time you created a new group. they’ll probably not reopen it at this point
but at least your account was only warned. almost every moderation action for this violation is a termination and not a warning
