Hey, so I know this seems like I’m just oblivious to how Roblox functions, but I swear it’s not like that. I made a model with the texture size being 148 x 148, VERY tiny compared to some of the other textures that usually get uploaded to Roblox. And yet somehow, Roblox still feels the need to compress it. I’ve applied no colour correction filters or anything, apart from making there be no shading.
Well, then clearly some process between the transfer of Blender to Roblox has lead to some level of compression to the point of when it’s visible. Trust me, it’s not this compressed on the texture file.
i tried to 2 sizes the 128x128 and yours 148x148 which is the top in the picture and so far it shows the same exact as in blender maybe try putting your blender viewport in flat shading mode
I think with that method in mind, the only way I could see that working is if I made the texture much bigger, but that would just ruin the vibe I’m going for.
It’s just really weird and frustrating, because for the first 20~ minutes of that model being in game it was perfectly uncompressed, but after a certain amount of time it just flipped the switch and compressed.
