When opening Roblox, the game takes 1-3 seconds and then opens the dialogue “An unexpected error occurred and Roblox needs to quit. We’re sorry!”.
I’ve reinstalled Roblox, removed all the old version folders, restarted my PC with no startups apps, but this issue doesn’t look Byfron related.
Log/dump files were attached to the internal ticket by a Roblox Staff (@Focia19), due to the sensitive information they may contain, will not be shared publicly!

Update, after installing the new update. Roblox has closed cuz it detected a third-party application. (idk)
The popup no longer shows when attempting to start a game but I have the .tmp file, that I can not read. (Can’t share cuz of upload restriction)

Also encountered this problem. For me, Roblox crashes when I have Wallpaper Engine or 1.1.1.1 running, which is weird, because why should it be detected in the first place??
So just try to kill some process and keep rejoining until you find out what’s causing it, works for me.
Encountering this issue as well. Even when no other program is opened.
New Update, Runs in safe mode with networking (idk why I didn’t do this in the first place but) I will start narrowing down the issue mainly through disabling everything -.-
@Mardz38 I’d recommend trying through safemode to see if its a external issue.
Okay nevermind. It keep crashing on certain games , and I don’t know why, running from app instead of browser works fine for some reason???
Edit: Seems like I was wrong.
I am experiencing a similar issue on my games as well. Does it have to do with streaming enabled? We have a large railway map and use streaming.
Might not be, as I’ve successfully joined a game which has it enabled. It only crashes on certain games, and I am not sure why.
I’ve tested a brand new baseplate and it still fails. At this point its failing before the attempt to load the game, but after popup loads
That happens to me like every 2 weeks. I used to uninstall and reinstall it every time and that worked but goddamn it’s annoying.
Ill try this method, but before this was one of the methods I did.
New update, it says my PC is a virtual machine after running Roblox 
Until that’s fixed, I uninstalled a bunch of programs that managed different components and features, which I didn’t really use, so I will check if that solved the issue after the VM error is fixed.
CORE ISOLATIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN, the VM error was caused by core isolation.
Roblox finally runs now, these are the following this I remember I did:
Asus AI Suite 3 ← Uninstalled
Ubuntu (WSL) ← Uninstalled
some sound things ← Uninstalled
AMD Radeon Software ← Uninstalled
DeepL ← Uninstalled
Read and Write (thx school) ← Uninstalled
Core Isolation ← Disabled
These are the things I remember uninstalling that couldve impacted roblox based on how they run.
