I don’t think roblox supports windows 7 anymore. Still probably anti-cheat related.

lol if your windows version is 14 years old dont expect newer things to work

It still supports Windows 7, as long as it’s 64 bit

I had the same issue. Windows 10.

Yeah but why would you use an OS that isn’t supported anymore.

some people just cant or wont upgrade, to me windows 7 is possibly THE best windows, compared to 8 and 10.

I don’t understand why anyone would use anything under Windows 10 if they are capable of upgrading: you are literally putting yourself at a major security risk (no more security updates) and you are missing out on huge features + software that is only supported on newer versions of Windows. Pretty much any hardware can at least run Windows 10 so this is completely baffling to me.

If you want something that can run on old hardware + doesn’t have any bloat, try tiny10 or tiny11.

never said i would personally use windows 7, nor did i say it was better now then windows 10/11, but it is objectively the best operating system overall when it released, so you can understand why people choose to stick with it, just like how most infastructure (hospitals, banking, etc) used to use some form of windows xp (before it lost support completely), its because windows XP, along with windows 7, are extremely reliable at doing what an operating system should do, so people stick with them.

Hey everyone, this seems like an issue with old Windows, so I’m gonna close it out.
