Roblox crashing after setting process priority to Realtime

Repro steps:

  1. Join a Roblox game
  2. In Task Manager, click on the Details tab and find RobloxPlayerBeta.exe
  3. Right-click it, click Set Priority and click Realtime

Expected behaviour:
Roblox continues running as normal, perhaps with better performance.

Actual behaviour:
A few seconds after setting the priority to Realtime, Roblox freezes, the window goes into the “Not responding” state where it becomes greyed out, and eventually the audio cuts out and Roblox crashes.

Workaround:
Don’t change the priority.
