Roblox Crashing on Mac (with the recent update)

Sorry I can’t give Repro, as it doesn’t happen every time :frowning:

With the recent update my Roblox player just flat out crashes at a certain time in my game, but not every time.

[strike]However, it could just be coincidental that it is happing around the same point in my game. My gut feeling is it has something to do with the chat, as all 3 times I was talking to someone and they were about to respond back and I would crash.[/strike] This crash is caused by the Track Camera Type.

Times of Crashes: Two were about 3 mins apart at the same Server. The third was about an 1 hour 30 minutes later at a different server but same game.

[strike]All three happened during the time my Replay Code executes: Which Retrieves large amount of data from each Client, however, it doesn’t crash when fetching the data, which makes me think it has nothing to do with something I’m doing. The part it crashes at is when the server is reading the data and moving Humanoids around using body movers, nothing I would think cause a Client to crash.[/strike]

All of those errors appear from pressing down the ‘!’ character and releasing it, it also drops my Rending FPS to around 40 if I spam it.

Some how my Client managed to not crash, however my Camera is broken and any input from the mouse causes the Console to spam out these errors

Edit: another error, also is spammed with input of the Mouse.

Edit2: It seems it has something to do with the Track Camera Type, and is NOT caused by the chat. random times if I Right Click to rotate camera it will cause the Roblox player to crash with the track camera type.

ROBLOX hasn’t been very friendly on macs for a while now. I just got used to it.

Really hope ROBLOX finds what is the issue and fixes it, so their game is actually playable.

I posted a cleaner version of it here if what you fixed wasn’t related.

yeah there was some threading issues, this should be fixed now! let me know if you see similar crashes
