Before I begin my bug report, I would like to state that I cannot post a bug report officially on the dev forum due to me still not being accepted into the bug reports group.
Device Specifications:
Edition | Windows 11 Home |
---|---|
Version | 24H2 |
Installed on | 8/10/2024 |
OS build | 26120.1542 |
Experience | Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.18.0 |
The build of Windows I am using is an Insider Build which may be a main reason for this error
- Whenever I attempt to join a game on roblox, my game will crash and then windows explorer will tell me to perform a Clean boot (which I have done more than once already to try and solve this. They have not worked)
- My current attempts at fixing this:
- Clearing all temp files
- Reinstalling Roblox/Updating Roblox
- Restarting my Device
- Clean Booting my Device
- Updating Windows Insider Builds
- Updating Drivers
None of the Solutions have worked.
I would also like to point out that this happens at random, some days roblox won’t crash for a good hour, and other days it won’t let me join even If I restart/clean boot multiple times that day.
This only started a few roblox updates ago and started way after I started using the Windows Insider Update.
This also affects me in Studio as well, which may sometimes just crash (only started happening after the more recent roblox updates) without a clean boot warning at all.
Screenshots
- (this one immediately crashed which is how I was able to get a picture of the loading screen fading out)
If anyone could help me in finding a solution it would be much appreciated. If not, I will probably try and revert back to windows 23H2 instead
