If you’re participating solo, you’ll only get a $1,500 gift card. Gift cards are sent to each team member separately.

You can create in a profile or a group, don’t worry! Just make sure to include all team members in the submission survey

Technically this means if you want to maximize profit (or just not waste free money) you have to list at least 4 other team members that contributed nothing.

I was just now wondering though, whoever is judging probably takes into account the amount of devs to work on a project. So if you’re a solo dev, and you can’t possibly put in the same amount of time as 5 devs, I’d hope they take that into account lol.

I seriously doubt this TBH. They’ll judge based on which game is best, which is still gonna be hard even with the prompt since it’s entirely subjective.

Really? Comp seems corrupt/unfair if that’s the case. I suppose that’s why they recommend working as a team.

I wouldn’t know, but honestly I hope games are judged based on quality regardless of the amount of people. It would still be pretty unfair if a team of 5 people recreated skyrim or something and got less “points” because they had 5 people.

That’s true, but I think team size needs to be taken in consideration too. Like, if both games are good, but one has just bigger map, then this should become dilemma. But not if game A which made solo is 5 times worse than game B made in team.
