Im curious, do you think The CHASE being a multiplayer game would effect rating (negatively/positively) I dont think i’ve seen a single multiplayer game, all the games are 1 player servers, unless I missed something…
I made a hub with teleports to every valid submission from @TimeFrenzied’s list, if that would help anyone.

i would say multiplayer games are often time more engaging than singleplayer.

Honest opinions and feedback would be greatly appreciated, I’m not the best at conjuring ideas so I’d be open to all criticism.
Typically making a multiplayer game means sacrificing quality in other areas so that’s why nobody does it (also way easier to make a smooth feeling game).

I feel like everyone took the meaning of “Break the System” a bit too literally, every game feels like it’s computer themed and about fighting viruses and/or something related to it, whereas break the system just really means doing something extraordinary, the unusual and trend breaking.

honestly i feel like this is the case with most of these challenges though—most submissions were bomb-themed in Chain Reaction, many were plot twists in Unexpected Development, etc. and our team even took the theme extra literally lol
i do agree it would be awesome to see (and make) more variation with these, but sometimes thinking of unique ideas is no simple feat

Yeah, I really don’t know how that happened considering they stated in the message that it was made over the last few years. I’m not gonna check every game manually so you can expect it to happen occasionally, I’ve updated the list.
As said above, glowyogurt created a hub that automatically lists every valid submission, removes duplicates, and allows you to teleport to them. (now linked in the post)
If you aren’t trying to copy them for any reason, I’d recommend using that. (you also don’t have to click much links incase you’re wary of that!)

Interactable means if it can interact but active if false it won’t get mobile input
While I do agree with what you’re saying, let me hold your hand when I deeply say that the past few years, every gamejam or so, I have never seen any superliminal inspiration. Portal? Sure I’ll agree on that as I have seen some submissions going for that, but this game DOES in fact have actual unique ideas to it.
Thanks! I really enjoyed drawing this character for the game intro, it was so fun and I really kept giggling on how silly the facial expressions looked!! We have plans to fix the intro and some parts of the game after the gamejam ends, or when the judges announce that they finished voting for the categories.
