About 3 weeks ago, I technically “quit” Roblox. Sometimes I would visit the forum from time to time, but the updates just made me lose more and more hope.
However, don’t let that get you down.
Firstly, do you quit because developing games is not fun anymore? Well, this happened to me too. I started just for money, and do not do that mistake too. Dealing with depression and bad decisions got me to quit Roblox for some time.
However, in all the dark you are, someone will come to save you. May he donate, send a friendly message, anything that happens means that they like your game and you should not lose hope.
If you don’t receive it, your game may just not be known. Make your friends try it, recommend to friends (or ads if possible)
How I got back
Well, for some reason I got back. While most are basic for most of you, it means the world to me and got me to develop again.
Firstly, I got a lot of inspirational messages
Secondly, I saw that many people cheated to get these crowns. Pretty sad to see, but even receiving the most basic one legitimately made me smile
And thirdly, I saw that people like my game and support it. my games have NO features that you can purchase, only donations. And some people donated to me to show support and respect, even though they would get nothing in return
Why taking pauses are good ideas
So, taking pauses most of the time is a pretty good idea, especially when you are mentally burnt out or are stressed
Don’t let Roblox get away important things in your life
I made this mistake too, I ignored many of my classes, only to develop 12 hours per day. I got mentally burnt out and bad grades.
If your game idea seems bad to you, it may be bad
For example, did you ever made a tycoon that seems boring/bad to you? Then it probably is, tycoons/obbyes or anything else are over rated and you should do something else that seems interesting to you(except your game has unique features)
