Roblox didn't import the keyframes properly from Blender. Why?

Alright so I have a skinned mesh here. Imported it to roblox. It is fine and working properly. All the the other animations are fine.

Let’s get to the problem. So I am animating the model, making a simple walk animation. It has several keyframes. Basically it is animated in blender. Then I go to studio, select the skinned mesh as a rig in the animation editor.

Screenshot:

Then I import the fbx file animation that contains the walk animation.
So, it’s supposed to have more keyframes just like in Blender. Basically it’s supposed to have the same amount keyframes from Blender.

Screenshot:

As you can see guys, when I imported the .fbx animation file to roblox, that’s what happens. It did not import the keyframes from blender properly. The animation just literally contains two keyframes not like in Blender, it has several keyframes to the very end of the timeline.

Q & A:

Did you animate it properly?
Answer: Yes. I animated it manually. Posed the entire thing each frame
until I finished it. Also I used LocRot for the frames so it’s moving properly.

How’s the other animations?
Answer: Well like I mentioned earlier, they’re fine. They have the same
amount of keyframes just like from Blender. Basically the animation has the same amount of keyframes just like the amount of keyframes from Blender.

So I have no idea why does this happen. Sometimes it imports the keyframes properly, sometimes it does not. I don’t know why this happens. It’s supposed to import the keyframes from Blender to Roblox.

Having this issue as well. Were you able to find a solution?

Nope still haven’t found a reason for this cause. This is a weird bug.

I had the same issue today. What I did in blender before exporting was to change your edit type to nonlinear animation, then on the orange strip there should be a button to “Push Down Action”. After pressing that, export as usual.
