Sometimes, it seems that the user status for people does not update fast enough. This causes the people in-game to show up as “Online”/“Website” instead of actually being in-game like they are, or show them on Studio.
This has some side effects:
If people are trying to join someone and are on a queue, they will get disconnected for “user left” and have to rejoin the queue from the start
Someone joining on a outdated page may be led to the wrong game
This has been most seen annoying in the current event, The Haunt, where people are queueing up for servers to get pumpkins.
This issue seems to have become more common now for some reason with longer update times, a lot of people complain that the user has left when they have stayed and the status just doesn’t update fast enough
Hi, thanks for the report! We have overhauled the system that registers Presence status updates, significantly improving Presence status accuracy across the board.
