Roblox doesn't seem to work on a new device

So after switching to a new laptop my roblox client doesn’t seem to work. After i join a game or open the beta launcher the screen is just purely white and stops responding after a minute or two.

Keep in mind that all of the drivers are up to date and i have the newest DirectX ( 12 ). I have also tried using the microsoft version of the game and reinstalled it several times. Nothing seems to be helping.

Specs:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050
  • 32 GB or RAM
  • 64 Bit operational system
  • Intel Core I5 12th gen

Have you tried disabling your GPU and using integrated graphics?

I dont think my graphics card has anything to do with this problem. Roblox’s microsoft store version seems to be working fine, aswell as roblox studio.

Oh, I thought you said the microsoft store version did not work. Does Roblox produce some sort of crash dump?

yeah, there seem to be some dump files after i try to launch it. Also update on the microsoft version. It seems to work for only some time. It crashes occasionally without seemingly any reason

Okay, update on the situation.

I’ve tried completely wiping windows and even tried going back to windows 10. Doesn’t seem to help at all. Contacting roblox support didn’t do any good either.

OKAY, CLOSING THIS TOPIC!

ive tried some solutions and managed to actually fix it! I completely reinstalled roblox, the problem seemed to be with roblox using my integrated graphics card ( instead of my 4050 ). I changed it through the NVidia contol panel and in the gaming section of settings. After that launched the installer via administrator and now it works!

Putting this as a solution for anyone who stumbles on the same problem as me!
