Roblox doesnt work on new PC (i9 13900K)

help
i spent a bunch of money and built a really nice computer (to run LLMs) but now i cant play roblox for some reason :^(

specs

  • os: windows 10
  • processor: i9 13900K
  • RAM: 64GB DDR5
  • storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
  • motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero WiFi6E LGA 1700
  • graphics cards: 2x RTX 3090

things I’ve tried

  • Clicking play on website: It asks me to install, but doesn’t open
  • Windows Store version of Roblox: It’ll install, but just closes as soon as I open it.
  • Roblox Studio: Works perfectly fine

Is this some issue with Byfron? I’m not using a VM or anything. Has anyone ever had a similar experience, or have any suggestions?

:sob:

update:

I’ve tried windows disk cleanup
I’ve tried uninstalling roblox, doing disk cleanup, then reinstalling roblox

still not working

When I click install, it shows this for a few seconds, but that’s about it

nothing happens when I click the play button on games
no errors or anything, just doesnt open

This may be because Roblox does not support two graphics cards.

i had the same issue , it got fixed by disk cleanup for me …

this seems to have been the issue
that’s really lame
why can’t roblox just chose a graphics card at random instead of disallowing us to play altogether?

edit: wait why does studio work?

Update: Looks like Roblox goes back to working if you remove one graphics card, play a game, and then put the graphics card back.

Not like they support anything
