A quick question: are you running any third party anti-virus programs excluding Windows Defender? If so, it would be helpful to validate if disabling (or uninstalling it) resolves this problem.
Additionally, if you’re feeling confident, it would be extremely helpful if you could disable SVM (Secure Virtual Machine/AMD-V) in your EFI settings to validate if this might be causing an issue with the latest update of Roblox.

Typically, these steps are motherboard/firmware dependent (so you might need to look up your specifics), but the general process is as follows:
To turn off SVM Mode, restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the designated key (like Delete or F2) during startup. Navigate to the “Advanced” or “Configuration” tab, find “CPU Configuration,” and then locate the “SVM Mode” setting for AMD processors. Select it and change the setting to Disabled, then save your changes and exit (usually by pressing F10).
You can always re-enable SVM mode by undoing the steps.

I’ve also encountered this error since yesterday and disabling Virtualization (SVM) in the BIOS fixed this. Im also on an AMD CPU based system.

I had the same issue, and after turning off the “Memory Integrity” feature in Windows Defender → Device Security → Core Isolation and restarting my computer, Roblox suddenly started working.
Could this be the reason for why Roblox was constantly crashing? (Or did I just get luckily?)
EDIT: I tried turning it back on to see if the Memory Integrity feature was really the cause of this issue. And it seems like it was, as soon as I turned it back on (and restarted my computer) it started to crash. Then I disabled it for the second time and, as expected, it resolved the issue.
Can confirm. I really need a fix urgently as I have installed Roblox on a laptop I’m using for while I’m moving and my actual computer is packed up.

Yes. The worst part is I’m gonna be on the road in 48 hours, which means if this isn’t urgently fixed.. I can’t play Roblox.
I literally need some sort of game to play during the trip that isn’t just boring mobile games.

I still do not recommend turning off “Memory Integrity”. I recommend leaving it on and doing as the admin I quoted above has told you to do so
Issue is still going on. If I can’t play a game I spend so much money on because the developers can’t fix an issue they made in 5 days.. whew.

Turning off SVM is working for me.
Turning it off doesn’t really do anything. It’s fine to turn off if you don’t use emulators, virtual machines, or certain modern security features such as Windows’ Memory Integrity.
It’s not inherently unsafe to do so for daily tasks like gaming or browsing; however, it disables security measures like Core Isolation and Memory Integrity, leaving them more vulnerable to malware.
If you really want to turn it off, be careful when doing so. It still poses a risk to your computer, and I do not recommend turning it off (if you’re using emulators, virtual machines, and others). If you decide to, make sure to avoid any dodgy websites.

My processor is AMD Ryzen 5 2600x as well. By the way things are looking, I suppose it’s only affecting Ryzen users.

Yep. I’ve been having this issue as well. Personally, my processor is AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor, 3400 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s).

We’re hoping we will have a fix in for early next week. It does seem to be related to AMD Ryzens and our 691 update.
I’ll follow up when the fix is deployed. At this time, I do recommend the temporary workaround above.
