Hello everyone! I’ll get straight to it; I have a unique problem with Roblox. Shortly after loading into any game, Roblox will just freeze. Haven’t exactly counted how long it freezes for, but I would say about 5-7 seconds. But the thing is, unlike other reported issues where it freezes and then crashes, after my game freezes for the first time, it does not freeze at any other time, and there seems to be no problems. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have looked at other articles but in every case I have looked at, it crashes after freezing.

If you’ve already checked the forums to see if others have had the issue recently then try uninstalling your Roblox Player and reinstalling it. It may just be a glitch that’s happened on your computer.
Also what are your internet speeds?

Doesn’t seem like reinstalling fixed it, and I’m running 110 Mbps download and 34 Mbps upload. Thanks for the reply!

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding, but I meant that every time I load into a game, after a few seconds to a minute, it freezes for a few seconds and then everything is normal. It never crashes though, which is weird.

This is happening to me and it is getting worse. I feel like whenever I join a game after 10ish seconds it freezes and the time it is frozen progressively slowly gets longer.

Quick question, do you by any chance have Medal installed? I just tried roblox with Medal disabled and it seemed to not generate the freezing problem.
Edit: This seemed to fix it only once. I am not getting consistent results.

It is a service that lets you clip your games automatically, it’s pretty handy but recently I feel like it has been causing performance issues.

Yeah, I uninstalled medal but it still occurs. Roughly 30 seconds into the game I get a random freeze for 3 seconds then that’s it.

It’s starting to get really annoying now because I feel like it’s targetting me at teh worst time. “Follow me” then it freezes and I couldn’t find the person.

it’s happening to me, as well. after 1-2 minutes, my roblox freezes for like 10 seconds and then never again. however, it seems to be getting worse because in a couple games it freezes and then lags at like 1 FPS and never goes back to normal.
Weird, that’s 2 people now saying it gets worse. Mine seems the same as when it started happening. Do you have anything installed that modifies Roblox? (Such as an FPS unlocker, clipping software, etc…)

I’ve noticed it hasn’t been happening recently, maybe roblox fixed it! Let’s hope they did.

I have to start using the Microsoft version now… I have a very High end PC With an RTX card and roblox never crash me before.
What happens is when I press play on a game the roblox application goes in white screen loading for couple min then finally loads in to the game and it would randomly freeze every 5 min then get’s back.
Studio will also take bit long to load no matter what size of the project is if your also just creating a new experience it just takes forever… It has been started since last Month but it’s getting worse and worse.
I had reset my pc, Updated Stuff like Bios, GPU and CPU Drivers and nothing has been working for me. I had contacted Roblox but the stuff they are telling me to do doesn’t help and they are making me do some stuff that also don’t make any sense to how it will fix my issue.

I just started getting a freezing problem. For some weird reason, no matter what game I’m in, the game will keep freezing throughout my session. Often 5-7 seconds in length each time around 20 seconds apart.

open taskmanager, goes into performance section, if the gpu is at the low usage and the cpu is at the high usage then you need to fix the computer bc that might be the reason, if it stay at the balance then goes to graphic setting and change roblox graphic preference to high performance if it’s already at high performance then low it down
