As the title suggests, after 10 minutes to about an hour of playing, Roblox players will freeze, game functions will freeze, and no chat messages will go through. Oddly, some of the time I am able to type and send messages in the chat, and my friend also sent me a screenshot where those messages actually went through on his side, but i couldn’t see his messages on my side.
No “Check your internet connection” message pops up, no error or anything. I am able to walk around in the game freely, although I’m not actually sure if this is prolonged or not since I’ve only let it go like this for like one minute and then closed the game, so if you would like me to test staying in the game after this happens let me know, and I will share results, and if you want me to test other things, let me know as well.
Sounds like you’ve got scripts or something that are stacking up and lagging the gameplay.
There’s a microprofiler available for troubleshooting things that are going on in the background of your game.
It’s not my game, I’m sorry for the confusion but I didn’t really know where else to post this, since isn’t roblox support more about account recovery and such? And I’d prefer community help rather than official, but again sorry for the confusion, this is just roblox, not studio.
Is it just the one game you are joining, or every game? One game would be an issue with that game. If it happens in all games it’s likely a problem with your device or internet speeds.
What’s your internet speed like?
Do you have other programs running at the same time as Roblox Player?
Every game, sorry for the late response. It doesn’t matter if it’s cpu or gpu demanding or not. I get 120 mbps download speed and 40 - 50 mbps upload speed. I usually have Chrome open and Discord.
Strange.
When other players aren’t having an issue it’s a client issue on your computer.
The game loads onto your computer so you are playing using your CPU which is why you aren’t getting lag and are able to still play.
I’m guessing you did your internet speed test without the game running.
The internet connection is likely the issue so try running a speed test while the other players are frozen.
