I’ll be looking into this game later today but just before I forget, tags don’t work on Roblox, no point of putting them in your description
As a fellow GeoGuessr player, this is AMAZING LOL. I have no clue how you did this but it’s working great. While playing the game, a few things stood out to me:
When the camera zooms in to the right location, it rotates a bit. I think you should eliminate the rotation entirely since it becomes a bit confusing.
You should also have a key (spacebar, for instance) that finishes the game and shows you the location. I think either there already is one and I can’t find it or you left it out as part of the game’s competetive aspect.
Other than those, its a great game. I love how you made the map the main focus and the image smaller since exploring the location is virtually impossible to implement and it’d be a pain to have a static image taking over the whole screen.
Cool game, haven’t seen something like this on Roblox before. I would just make sure you end the round after the player guesses a location to minimize any unnecessary waiting time.
Oh thanks lol, I was just trying to get some more players. I’ve seen a few games with tags but i didnt realise they didnt work
I don’t think that’s right, having tags are just keywords that people can search for in the search bar. So it just shows your game more in search, but i would recommend just making a good description with some good keywords
Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it!

I originally decided not to add this feature because of the game’s competitive aspect, but I might give the player an option to choose the gamemode when they join the game (Solo or Multiplayer), so if people want to compete, they can choose the MultiPlayer option, but if people want to play on their own, they can choose the solo option.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Yeah, i’ll do that. Thank you.
Hello, @pf_z1!
Here are a few thoughts from me, and I hope you find them helpful.
I like that the game is both fun and educational.
I love the decision to use a pin drop, rather than just standing over the location, as this allows players to make more accurate guesses and is true to the original game – GeoGuessr.
I am very impressed by what you have managed to create all by yourself.
GeoGuessr is spelled and formatted incorrectly in the title – “Geoguesser”.
The map is not immediately visible, and I must adjust my camera angle to play.
The map is so pixelated that it makes the game look old. Could this be amended?
The answer is shown on a map that is upside down, which makes it difficult to read.
I really don’t like the existing GUI, and would like to see this elevated.
I am sometimes getting stuck and cannot move around the map, but I’m not sure why.
There needs to be a vast number of locations to keep it interesting, and avoid regular repeats.
Players might like to choose between dropping a pin or standing on the map, as simply dropping a pin might become quite static, boring and two-dimensional.
As aforementioned, the choice of different gamemodes sounds great, as I believe that GeoGuessr was originally a single-player game and many people like to play it on their own.
I would also suggest taking a look at Placer by Ming Media, which has already had 6 million visits, for some inspiration. It is the same concept, but is far more intuitive than your game as it stands.
