I got very confused for when I first liked a post, so filling it in would make it easy easier to actually understand

I have this problem too. I always have to click again to see if I liked it or not, and then click once more to set it back to “thumbs up”. Also, what is even the point of thumbs up, if there is no thumbs down?

I think it should also be colored green!

the fact a thumb DOES NOT color in for a UI makes me hate it
