Go to Edit Mode and press Ctrl + A and then Shift + N. Then try importing the model again. The issue is most definitely due to inverted normals.

That probably means that the topology of your model is wrong.
When you press Shift + N there may appear a small dropdown on the bottom left of your screen. Open it and it will have a checkbox with text next to it saying “Inside”. Make sure that the checkbox is checked.
i checked that and that’s why my frame is tranparent
leaving it unchecked does not change anything, doesn’t even fix that hole

something i noticed is that the faces that are “invisible” in the importer don’t even correspond to the actual faces in blender

property fix it?
