Roblox is not launching

Hello,

Yesterday i encountered a problem with Roblox not launching. I spent all day trying to fix this issue, but nothing worked. I tried reinstalling roblox with RobloxPlayerInstaller.exe, but its just crashing in the mid of installation and it doesn’t install roblox. I looked up the logs folder and i found this:

Installer thread completed with Failure "failed to download and install version-6f0b02756d914e3e, please check log file C:\Users\werinq\AppData\Local\Roblox\logs\RobloxPlayerInstaller_7BEC4.log"

I didn’t found a fix for this error. Trying to run the RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe, it is reinstalling roblox but the roblox still doesn’t launch. Is there any fix i can use, so i can play roblox again?

UPD: Just found out that roblox starts in background, not idea how to fix that.

Hello FaasaPRO,

Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Maybe the version is outdated. Try re-installing RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe and see what happens. If it has yet to work, try downloading Roblox from the Microsoft Store. If it still has yet to work, try resetting your computer and contact Roblox support. If you don’t believe it is a you problem, please view the Roblox status page for more info.

Sorry for the late respond, but…

How am i supposed to reintall RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe if i can’t even install it because of this error??

What Operating System are you using? What is the Version/Edition?

I am using Custom Windows 10 PRO 22H2 from Flibuster. The problem is, that this problem occured randomly, and it was good before yesterday.

Hm. well i don’t have an idea what its causing this. Are you sure that there was no popup saying “Third-Party-Applications detected” or smth?

I’d recommend messaging @Bug-Support to file a Bug-Report. This might be a problem on Roblox’s end.

press win + r on your keyboard and type %appdata% then go in the AppData folder and open Local, if you find the roblox folder then delete it and it should fix

If i even try to delete it, i could not install roblox properly, plus tried already

well idk have you tried looking for roblox in C:\Program Files (x86)
