ROBLOX Keeps spamming my email


Save me from this hell. This started last night, I have no idea what’s going on.

Same happened to my friend a month or two ago, he got 138 emails saying he violated the terms of service within 5 minutes. Nothing was actually deleted or moderated.

Is that 100 replies per email?? For now, you can just block Roblox on your gmail. :smiling_imp:

Out of curiosity, have you had previous violations of any level (ie a decal that was just silently denied by moderation with no warning/alert)?
I highly doubt this would be the case as no way anyone would have that many issues noted on their account, but I was thinking it could potentially be giving you an email for every single past issue that has ever been noted on your account.

Is it still going? When did it start? Is there any sort of pattern to how often emails are being sent? (ie 1 per minute max for example) and are there any variations at all or is it just the same “you violated roblox community standards” thousands of times.

My alt account experienced the same thing at midnight. To briefly explain what happened, a lot of “Adidas” clothes from 2019 were removed due to “Trademark Violation.” All the violation messages came at the same time, just like in your case, and it was probably automated, with no warnings assigned to the account.

On Log in to Roblox, all the removed items were visible for appeal, but despite receiving emails about a few items and being able to appeal, I noticed that they were not deleted. Maybe that’s exactly what happened—the system could be stuck in a loop. So the item keeps getting detected as a rule violation, but nothing happens. Or perhaps you truly violated their rights thousands of times.

They have set up an automated system, and they are trying to protect everyone’s account from copyright/trademark issues, which is honestly appreciated.

I hope your case is the same. I may need to talk to Roblox Support about some items not being deleted to prevent similar actions in the future.

Do you have some example item ids that were rejected and you received emails for?

Earlier that day I had uploaded some audio things, and maybe some image things, but nothing triggered this. It was like a couple of hours after those uploadings that I had got this.

When I first recieved the first like 300 emails I looked at my report-appeals#/, and nothing was there that was new. I went to sleep and wake up and I see I still get the emails, so I check it again and:

Hi, that’s exactly what happened to me today, someone applied to my Talent Hub post and I’ve been getting spammed ever since.
