Just encountered this, wow it is bad. It affects the entire computer, not just Roblox.
EDIT: It is only happening on my secondary monitor. It is fine on my wide-screen for some reason. As soon as I drag the client over, my pc starts to die. Both at 1440p
Yea the Roblox app page is super laggy esepcially the homepage. Go into a game turn on microprofiler and go back to the home page and check out the spikes when yku do that, and when you go through diferent pages.
Thank you for your report! We’re having trouble reproducing this issue on our end. Could you tell us more info about what monitor and computer you are using? If you could grab a dump while its in the lagging state, that would be helpful as well. Thanks!

OP does not appear to have multiple monitors, however the issue is identical.

I do have multiple monitors
2 DELL 23 inch 1920x1080 @ 60Hz
Yet it still lags on those monitors
And, after somehow losing the dark title bar
I can report that this issue still happens
Hello~~
I’m looking into a few different bug reports that all appear to be pretty similar.
Would you be able to try something to help diagnose the issue for me?
Would you be able to select “Disable fullscreen optimizations” in your RobloxPlayerBeta.exe Compatibility Settings?
I found that disabling the fullscreen optimizations fixed the issue for me. Just curious if it also fixes this issue, or if maybe there’s a different root cause. Appreciate the help!!
Unfortunately this did not work for me
Thanks for the quick reply!
Do you happen to have any custom FPS settings applied? If you press Shift + F5, is it displaying something more than 60?
If so, can you try:
does it happen to fix the issue when you go back to the home page? The in-experience settings affect the home page as well
thanks again for helping us diagnose the problem!
Unfortunately that does not work either, as using Fishstrap or Voidstrap makes the same stuff happen (the video was recorded using Fishstrap)
I also have one question, as since you are roblox staff
Is it safe to use an executor in a game you have edit access to? (so not getting banned from roblox)
Jumping in real quick, changing the FPS to 60 via game settings does appear to resolve the issue on my end. For reference, I use 240.
Thanks for checking for us~
We’ll be investigating further to see why higher framerates causes this behavior. Appreciate the replies!!
Would you please be so kind to answer the question i asked you, about using an executor in a game you have edit access to
Or is that not your department?
Apologies for missing that previous question! While that isn’t my specialty, yes, unfortunately using executors in any capacity is against the TOS and can result potentially in a ban. Thank you for understanding!
Regarding the reported issue about lag when using interacting with the title bar, we have a small workaround planned to address this issue by lowering the framerate cap while interacting with the Roblox Windows client’s title bar. This will hopefully resolve a majority of the cases where we’re seeing issues.
I will keep you posted when we roll the fix out~
Well, I did hear about BitDancer saying you are allowed to use executors under places you own/have edit access to in order to test your anti-cheat or something like that
Which is what i actually want to confirm
Perhaps the best option would be to open a separate thread about it so that it can be routed to the proper team and the appropriate person can respond. For this thread, I’m just focusing on improving our Windows client so that it doesn’t lag when using the title bar operations ~ thank you!
Would this workaround be permanent? Or just a quick solution until the actual core issue gets properly fixed? Personally ive noticed that the entire client breaks app focus across all of windows. Trying to interact with the client’s top bar will make it super hard to focus back onto the client and impossible to click anywhere else outside of the client unless you specifically alt tab.
Disabling fullscreen optimizations seems to do nothing other than actually make the issue worse. It seems to force the issue to linger way after youve stopped trying to drag the window.
@XxMattvdbraakXx Hi there~ we rolled out some changes that will partially remedy the issue by dropping the FPS during the window move & resize loop. We have also planned changes for a longer-term fix but as these changes are complicated more time will be needed. That being said, from our testing, dropping the FPS during the move & resize loop does fix the issue in the majority of cases.
I will mark the issue as Fixed for now but please let me know if you’re still having the issue.
Check this out, it recently started happening again:
