As the title says, for some reason my version of Roblox Launcher (the browser version) doesn’t want to run after trying to play any game.
Now a bit of story for better context:
When I finally built my pc together and booted it I did the logical thing that everyone should do, install Windows updates and all drivers for my components and making sure to restart after every installation. When I finally finished with that, the next thing I did was install chrome and some other apps and services. Then I got to Roblox and for some reason, after installing it successfully, the launcher closes within a few seconds of clicking play on a game. I tried fixing the issue with the help of this video but I was not able to fix it. Even the Roblox App from Microsoft Store closed on itself when I tried to open it. Then I tried installing Roblox Studio, which it did successfully, but it also had the same issue as the Roblox Launcher, which is closing by itself without a reason. Keep in mind that there was not a single crash report during all of this. Then I reinstalled Windows instead of trying to find the root cause of the problem. After installing Windows updates, ONLY the GPU driver and Google Chrome this time, the problem with Roblox Studio and Roblox App from the Ms Store seems to be fixed but the Roblox Launcher still closes, after pressing play on a game, within a few seconds. I again tried the video above, but it didn’t work (except the Roblox App part).
TL;DR: New PC made Roblox Launcher, Roblox Studio and Roblox App (from Microsoft Store) automatically close themselves when you run them. Problem fixed when I reinstalled Windows, but Roblox Launcher from browser still has the same problem.
To recap what I tried:
- Tried following the steps in this video (only last step worked after Windows reinstall)
- Reinstalled Windows
- Tried disabling firewall
- Tried clearing cache on the website and local folder
- Tried reinstalling Roblox Launcher

I’d really like to fix this problem but I have no clue how to, and I really don’t want to use the app version from ms store since from previous use on my old setup I noticed that it uses QWERTY keys instead of whatever layout the system is using which is an inconvenience for me because I’m not a QWERTY user.
