Roblox Mobile Chat UI glitched when teleporting between experiences/subplaces

When using the iOs Mobile version of Roblox, there’s an issue with the in-game Chat softlocking users when teleporting in subplaces. Users are unable to close the device virtual keyboard and can still see the words they type.
I’ve been told and shown by one of my friends, @timIel_1337, credits to them for finding this out.

I’ve tested this bug on the desktop version of Roblox and doesn’t seem to happen. I also tested this on my phone and didn’t seem to happen on my Android phone.

My friend tested this with an iOs device, so I will leave out his device’s specification & visual proof below:

System Information:
iPadOS Version: 18.3.2
Model Name: iPad (9th generation)
Model Number: MK2K3FD/A
Roblox version: 2.665.681

Reproduction Steps:
Join any experience which has teleportation to a different subplace within the main-game & start typing in the chat without sending the message. Once the teleportation starts, you should still be able to type words & see the words you’re typing, as if the chat’s textbox duplicated.

This was reported 3 or 4 times previously but every report I can find has been incorrectly marked as closed/fixed. Disappointing.

Unfortunately I wasn’t aware, since I didn’t know this was a bug until my friend brought it up to me, but thanks for letting me know! Hopefully they will find a fix sometime.

The chat text that was typed when u are about to be teleported also stays in the home page

image This button closes it but its not effective at removing the text

(I made a bug report because i thought nobody has made a bug report about this cuz it didnt show up in first results of search bar for me, then when i looked deeper into it i realized a few more posts already made this bug report)

Heres what happens to me when i do this
