This is really cool, you can add highlights to your game like those in a football match. And you can use those to promote games.

It’s probably due to online “”“”““safety””“”“” laws in those countries ramping up recently, where doing just about anything requires every single website to have your ID. It sucks and is no doubt gonna result in a lot of data leaks.
Either way, I don’t think people from those regions are missing out on much with this. At least they increased DevEx???

Any plans to make a “Moments” section under games to highlight the top moments in that game for new players to see on the experience detail page? I think that would be useful/cool

Another feature that nobody wanted, where questionable behavior can easily happen, and where probably only 7 people are gonna use it
How about yall just restrict the potential vectors of bad actors and get moderation together before making all these features?
I don’t understand how yall are actively ignoring the things that could help you in terms of combating the issues outlined in all those lawsuits long-term

But seriously, as long as we have decent moderation, this is truly innovative and incredible. I wish we can have longer videos though, I want to record myself speedrunning to the top of Tower of Hell but it still takes over 2 minutes. Also, its hard to tell the algorithm that you DON’T like something. And you can’t even search a certain user’s posts.
In the end, this is a really great material as long as it continues to receive qol updates and the users behave

i honestly kinda laughed when i saw that this took the shape of tiktok/instagram stuff, i expected it to be videos on the home or even charts page that look just like game cards but specified as a video (not hating btw)

As you can see, Roblox now believes they need to keep up with the trends to “stay cool”.
Here, they are joining in on the popular “but bad” genre of games, as Roblox Moments are clearly meant to be “TikTok but Bad”!
