A single email should have been sent sometime around when the job invitation was sent, however more than 7000 emails for the same job invitation were sent. After the “Stop all emails” was toggled in notification settings, emails continued to be sent for about 7-9 minutes before finally ceasing, there were about 6 emails per minute during these 20 hours.
Hey, really sorry about this inconvenience. We turned off some code changes that were causing this buggy behavior with email sending yesterday near the time you posted this report. The emails should have stopped for now, and we’ll make some patches here before turning the code changes back on. Thank you for posting about this issue.
