Hello, today i have done a clean reinstall of windows just to find out roblox doesnt work,
i have tried disabling secure boot. removing roblox install directory (so basically clean installing) Roblox, and nothing yet. i am not using bitdefender or anything else I am not running any overclocking tools (msi afterburner ect)
NOTE: After experimenting around a little, i created a new user account on windows (no admin perms and NO spaces in the name.) roblox worked normally like nothing happened, i tested a dusty trip and bee swarm and both were fine
if that does not work then press Windows + R type in %localappdata%
search for the ROBLOX folder
find Versions
find a random version with the robloxplayerlauncher.exe in it and execute it
It’s a terribly annoying bug i already have for over 2 years and i am starting to get sick of it, clicking open link is the least annoying solution i have found. (i typed this at 1 am so i will go sleepy sleepy in a moments notice)
Opening it from %localappdata% roblox whatever doesnt seem to work, (i forgot how to stop it from auto opening roblox becouse i just click always allow) im using firefox so the same as you, so how do i make it not auto open again?
I have tried that but ill try again, also i had this same issue but on a core i3 system that litteraly required me to uninstall gpu drivers for it to even boot
I’d reccomend trying everything again with the things i told u and seeing if that works, otherwise play roblox on the MiCrOsOfT aPp version of roblox and bring this up to roblox as a massive bug which already needs fixing for 2 YEARS
Small issue, windows 10 LTSC does not have the microsoft store, i can add it in with some modding but uhh i dont wanna touch that buggy unstable roblox that crashes every 10 minutes
also worst thing is that this litteraly worked before i reinstalled windows (got a virus) this is litteraly the same ISO ive used last time… also why does it work on another user???
i dont know if you know what this is, but this is a tool called uninstall tool, it has a option to delete every trace of a program and it works great for me (in terms of actually removing a program 100%)
