What do you want to achieve? Hello. I want to figure out why my Roblox game client keeps crashing. I’m not sure what is happening because the game does not actually crash, but instead just stays as “Not Responding” forever. I hoping that someone who has more experience/knowledge can help me with this.
What is the issue? My Roblox game client keeps crashing. It usually takes around 15 minutes the first time I launch the game after a restart of my computer. After that, it takes 5 minutes or less. There are some games that work, such as games that have less parts and things in them, but games that used to run fine are now crashing.
What solutions have you tried so far? I have tried searching everywhere. I have searched through most of the DevForum posts that have the word “crash” in them. I have tried uninstalling Roblox, and the AppData folder multiple times. Roblox is running as administrator, and is the highest priority application in Task Manager. I really have no idea what else to do, as there are no more solutions I can find on the internet.
I’ve just spent the whole day trying to reach the requirements for this forum, so I may not respond for 8-12 hours after I post this. If anyone has any information on this, or would like me to provide further context, please leave a comment under this post. Thank you for reading.
UPDATE: I have an error log from the crash. I’m not sure what to do with it, and if anyone knows what do do please reply. I also recorded the crash when it happened, which may be able to solve the problem.
Hello, if you have the crash report, it would be very helpful to send it to a Roblox technician who will be able to help you check the cause of the problem. You can also try to check the issue yourself, otherwise send it here so we can take a look at it. Have a good day!
I’m gonna bump this again because the issue is still not solved. I tried messaging people and applied to submit bug reports but nothing is happening. I guess Roblox doesn’t care, so I need someone else to please help me.
it may be something that is flagging byfron. for me my roblox would crash very often out of nowhere and i found out that for some reason the oculus app is flagged by byfron, so maybe delete the oculus app if you have it.
