ROBLOX not working with AOL

I tried sending a username reminder to multiple AOL emails and a confirmation email and I never got the email. So it’s either something with AOL or roblox.

It’s probably getting caught in the spam filter. There are 3 steps websites can take to avoid getting caught in spam filters:

Another tutorial on implementing the steps.

[li]SPF[/li]
[li]Reverse PTR[/li]
[li]DKIM[/li]

I did some testing using this site and dig -x and it appears Roblox only implements SPF. So I suggest implementing Reverse PTR and DKIM also to avoid getting sent to spam boxes.

So is this a suggestion for roblox?

Yes

Not to derail, but who still uses AOL? :stuck_out_tongue:

Old user accounts I don’t remember the password too

I can say this is still a problem. I have tested it. My friend has 2 step on his account and he’s not getting the code (he’s using an aol email)

I made an alternative account and tested it myself with an aol email. When I go to verify the email when trying to put it on an account, I never actually receive it.

I’ve checked the spam and everything. No email is being received.

I can confirm this is still an issue - my friend has been having issues for so long now, and finally reached out about it to Customer Service.

He has said there is a problem with getting emails, and they said they had checked his account, saying there are no problems at all. Clearly, there is. Since my friend sent out the email to Customer Service, he was logged out of all sessions, meaning he is now completely blocked out from his account and can’t log back in.

Customer Service keeps saying there are no issues, but clearly there are. This needs to be addressed and fixed.
