Hello! There’s been a lot of talk lately after the choice to ban modified clients. It is completely understandable since it will help get rid of exploiters. However, it has the unintended side effect of banning the Roblox “sober” client for Linux. Are there any plans to release an official Linux port, or to allow sober to continue operation?
The announcement says that Sober is not intentionally blocked and should still function:
And, as far as I am aware, Sober is still functional.
we’re not very certain, but most likely not as sober does not modify the client in any way during installation and runtime. sober also has restrictions that is strictly enforced to ensure no one is using this for bad faith reasons.
