Roblox Player and Microsoft Store App both crash when opening

I have recently bought a new laptop and Roblox crashes whenever I try to start the application.

I have tried two options:

Roblox Player

• I downloaded Roblox player through chrome and installed it. Before showing the ‘succesfully installed’ window, the install window just closed.
• When pressing ‘Play’ on a game in Chrome afterwards, I was prompted to open the player and ‘RobloxGameClient’ appears in task manager under ‘Background Processes’, but no window opens and the game never loads.

Microsoft Store App

• I downloaded the Roblox microsoft store app
• Upon opening it, I am shown a window with the Roblox logo, then after about 3 seconds this window closes.

I will focus on the Roblox Player crash as this is the way I usually use Roblox.

Hello @Naco88, thank you for the detail report! (and kudos for redacting your Windows username ).
Could you private message me all the log files generated around 8/20, +/- a few days? I’d like to get the full picture of what’s happening here.

I see that you saw RobloxGameClient in the task amanger under Background Processes. Have you tried killing this process and pressing ‘Play’ on the website again?

Also, could you just try visiting https://clientsettingscdn.roblox.com/v2/client-version/WindowsPlayer/channel/z1daflag on your browser? Please let me know what you get.
