Roblox random perm crash

image

Hello,

I was playing a game, but then my client froze for about 1 or 2 seconds and closed. i couldn’t open it up afterwards. I haven’t done any updates today, but about a minute later, i got this error message.

Anyone feedback on this?

Try to re-install or open with your browser.

Okay, tried it. Sadly, same warning message popped up after it was done installing.

Roblox studio still works though

Have you tried the browser? if this doesn’t help it might be your computer not being up to date, I’m no tech genius but I don’t think incompatible software is a Roblox side problem. All else fails you can try restarting your pc.

My pc bluescreened on me, thx roblox

I think that’s a driver issue. Roblox shouldn’t cause that…

Yeah, im gonna do a system check instead before joining again. My pc was also stuck at the bluescreen which is even more concerning.

Whats your computer specs? Could be a factor for this.

GIGABYTE B650m X Ax V2, Ryzen 7 8700X3D, RTX 3060. My motherboard, ram and cpu are a few weeks old. i havent had issues ever since now. My roblox and other stuff work fine again. But i’d love to know how something random, yet so critical can happen at any random time

Might just be something in your PC that didn’t read the file and needed something to fix it up.

High change it was a reading error yeah. After the bluescreen, everything seems to work fine and as intended again

Okay, i think it’s a roblox issue. My pc had been working fine after all this. But it suddenly bluescreened on me again, this time while playing roblox.
(Error code: irql_not_less_or_equal)- i forgot to mention this part about the bluescreen.

I’ve done research, most of it says that it might be memory issue. I don’t think this is the hardware itself though. What i have also found out is this same issue has occured on the same motherboard series as mine (on most occasions), but i dont wanna judge too fast though, as my current pc is basically the same as my previous pc, but with am5 instead of am4 (ddr4 to ddr5 upgrade) ryzen stuff etc etc.

Shortly said, it has worked fine with the exact same software as my current pc uses. Just a newer motherboard model (from b550 to b650 if i remember correctly)

!!THIS MIGHT BE AN DRIVER ISSUE!!

(All this stuff started happening AFTER i got the first random roblox error / warning
Though i dont know where to point directly at when it comes to “driver issue” as everything works fine within device manager, unless we’re talking about a different sort of driver issue?)

I hope if someone knows more about this :sob:

Is it a possiblity that this error (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) bluescreen is caused by bloxtrap?

Irql_not_less_or_equal is mostly a device driver, could be your mouse, keyboard, hardware, anything. Another factor it could be is the device memory. I would recommend checking your RAM and or HDD/SSD as that could be a factor of that error code happening. Another is that your system files has become corrupted.

Hello again, I fixed the issue not long after, the roblox extension BLOXtrp was the cause of this. I do not recommend people using this software anymore
